Claudia Nieto

Claudia Nieto is a PhD candidate studying nutrition and population at the Mexican National Institute of Public Health (INSP) and a Healthy Food Policy Fellow with Vital Strategies. She is currently a visiting scholar with the Global Food Research Program. She has worked for the International Network for Food and Obesity/NCDs Research, Monitoring and Action Support (INFORMAS) evaluating food composition and food environment. Her current research interests are dietary sodium, food labeling, and food marketing. Her doctoral thesis assesses the impact of unhealthy food and beverage marketing on Mexican children and adolescents.
