Julie Allen-Czech
Research specialist
Julie is a registered dietitian with a bachelor’s degree in food science from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in human nutrition and dietetics from the University of Michigan. She brings prior experience as a nutrition labeling consultant and quality assurance analyst to her current role as a research specialist for the Global Food Research Program. Julie is particularly interested in labeling and marketing regulations, as well as the ways dietary intake, health behaviors, and food environments shape public health outcomes globally.
