Sitao is an undergraduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill, pursuing a degree in Nutrition at the Gillings School of Global Public Health with a double major in Anthropology. His research interests center around equitable food systems, rural nutrition, and culturally significant methods of food preservation. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new restaurants and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen.
Foods I must have in my home are… sesame oil, miso paste, gochujang, and spam.
My favorite food-related smell is… roasted garlic.
The first thing I learned to cook were… fuzhounese fish balls.
