Eric Trevino

Research specialist

Eric Trevino is a research specialist with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in philosophy from Appalachian State University. He has been doing research for five years varying from clinical studies in medical settings to traveling across North Carolina doing observations in classrooms. He loves working in research because it is the frontier of knowledge and he wants to be there pushing it further and seeing what there is to discover and learn. He is currently working at the Global Food Research Program in the Mini Mart Grocery Study producing high quality research and working with Hispanic populations to better serve underrepresented groups in research. His interests include spending time with his wife and son, learning to play any instrument he can get his hands on, and playing video games.

The craziest thing I’ve ever eaten is… haggis from a pub in Scotland.

My favorite beverage is… horchata!

My least liked food is… fish!
