David Gonzalez

David Gonzalez was an undergraduate research assistant with the Global Food Research Program from 2021 to 2025. In general, David is interested in studying the link between human behaviors and long-term health outcomes for particular populations. His experience in non-profit work, health advocacy, and Alcohol Use Disorder research prompted interest in his work at the Global Food Research Program.

My family’s holiday favorites are… Buñuelos and Natilla — a classic Colombian Christmas.

My least favorite beverage is… root beer, despite all my friends loving it.

My favorite food-related smell is… apple pie — especially while it’s baking.
