Juan Gomez

Juan joined the Global Food Research Program as a 2024 FERN Fellow between his third and fourth years studying nutrition sciences at North Carolina State University. He continued his work with GFRP the following year as an undergraduate research assistant. Juan is now pursuing master’s degree in public health nutrition with plans to become a registered dietitian with a specialty in pediatric, infant, and maternal nutrition.

My favorite food for winter is… chicken and wild rice soup!
