Lily Porter
Undergraduate research assistant
Lily is a second-year student at UNC-Chapel Hill, with plans to major in Nutrition – Health and Society with a minor in Spanish for the Health Professions. Her academic and professional interests center around the intersection of nutrition, culinary arts, global health, and language. She is excited to be assisting Global Food Research Program with research on the impact of food marketing labels, particularly those related to sustainability.
My “go-to” comfort food is… grilled cheese.
My most interesting food habit is… eating savory oatmeal.
