Tiffany Mo. Williams
Tiffany Mo. Williams is a student at NC State University studying Nutrition Sciences and Spanish. She has the most experience in food and nutrition services, including culinary arts, and is interested in the globalization of food and the food supply chain on an international scale. She is also interested in doing more research with the GFRP on food-related illnesses, specifically obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure, and how school breakfast and lunch programs affect dietary eating habits in adulthood. She joins the Global Food Research Program this summer as a fellow in the Fellowship for Exploring Research in Nutrition program.
When I’m in a time crunch, I love to make… a granola bowl with bananas, mangoes, blueberries, peanut butter, and agave nectar.
Foods I must have in my home are… plant-based milk, avocados, bananas, mangoes, old-fashioned oats, peanut butter, sourdough bread.
I can’t eat/cook ______ without making a mess: Marinara sauce and spaghetti
My most interesting food habit is… storing snacks in different bags or coats in case I get hungry somewhere.
